Helping Someone Else in Distress

A "Warm Connection" is a thoughtful approach to supporting someone in crisis. It can often be very difficult for someone to make that initial call or text to a distress line. Once you make that call or text for the person in need, you can pass the phone to that person, ensuring a smooth transition to professional support. You can stay by their side, offering a comforting presence. This simple act of care can make all the difference, helping the person feel heard and supported during a vulnerable moment.
